Fred and Sharon first met in the UK where Fred had been living for a number of years building a successful career in restaurant management.
In January 2004 after extensive renovations, Fred and Sharon opened 'Pizza Piazza'. Fred is proud to have brought to Melbourne a restaurant which places a strong emphasis on providing the highest quality of food at a reasonable price.
Situated in Chapel Street, this cosy restaurant seats approximately 40 people indoors, with tables under the awning for al fresco dining. In the summer, diners can take advantage of the rear courtyard for a more private setting - or to enjoy the late summer afternoon breezes.
The menu offers a wide selection and all items are made to order with only the freshest ingredients. The wood fired oven provides a warm and relaxing environment, while at the same time producing a delicious selection of pizzas, pastas, foccacias etc.
With Fred�s vast experience and Sharon�s support, Chapel Street now has a restaurant catering for diners with Coeliac disease (people allergic to Gluten) as well as those preferring traditional cuisine. |
